Leprechaun Trap Idea

Can you believe that St. Patrick’s Day is this weekend?  I swear it was just Christmas?!  Well good news is that Spring is really just around the corner!!

Here’s a little project that I came up with for Lilly’s teacher  last minute  last week.  Typically her teacher does not make the kids make a leprechaun trap because she always has a few kids that do not make one and she doesn’t like leaving kids out.  So last week and very last minute we came up with the leprechaun gold vault trap.

Here’s what I made in between Girl Scout Cookie booth sales last weekend …..  I made 26 shiny gold ladders for her class.

Seriously, if my job was to craft every day I would be in heaven! One day … dream big – Show up at work and have a new craft supplies and a project on my desk would be an awesome job!  Until then….

Gold Vault – Leprechaun Trap

Supplies:

Paper Towel or Toilet Paper Tube

Paint or colored paper – to color the tube

gold pipe cleaners ( I found mine at Hobby Lobby)

Printables – I used these printables over at Jasey’s Crazy Daisy

Gold Coins – I found gold coins at Joann’s – so each kid is getting a gold coin for their leprechaun traps or gold vault
