I love fall its one of my favorite time of the year! I love this season for many reasons but just a few are the holidays are just around the corner, jeans and turtle neck weather, HS football Fridays, College Game Day Saturday, sitting by a campfire on a cool fall night, and well can’t forget the candy corn!! 😉 lol Then there is Halloween and getting ready for Oct. 31st! I was not a huge fan of dressing up in my teenage years but now that I’m a Mom I love getting ready for Halloween! This year Lilly wants to be Thumbelina from Barbie series so I ordered her costume online. Her costume just arrived the other day and she was so excited that I couldn’t get it out of the box fast enough! Now, the chore will be keeping her out of the costume for the next 30 days!
With the start of fall comes a lot of bad things…. sinus infection hit me this week! Yuck! Luckily, I caught it before it really knocked me out! Today, I’m on day 4 of the zpac and feeling much better than I was earlier this week. Now, that I can focus a little more I will catch up on some blogging posts I had planned for earlier this week.
Last weekend, we went to Columbus to visit my sister and Saturday we went to the Worthington Market Day. Market Day is an open market for crafter’s to showcase and sell there work and then there is the open food market where you can buy fresh produce. This is one thing I miss about living so close to a downtown area. When we lived in Cleveland we went to the West Side Market every weekend. We lived so close to the market and we would buy all of our produce and meats that market and grab a little bite to eat at one of the little restaurants nearby. Some days, I really miss living so close to downtown life vs. my life in suburbia now. The things I give up to live in neighborhood so my daughter can grow up with a yard and lots of neighborhood kids. It’s all worth it but I do love downtown/city life! 😉
My two purchases I made at the market were – 1) a princess super hero cape – because every girl needs a princess cape right? see pictures below. 2) Indian corn – because it was so cheap vs. what I’ve seen at the stores just couldn’t pass up the deal for my home decor!
